On October 28, Will Rawls’s performance A Phrase That Fits, with the performers Flip Couto, Preto Téo, A TRANSÄLIEN and Sheyla Ayo, will take place at the 35th Bienal de São Paulo. The performance is a durational choreography with interventions and revisions of the lyrics to Tina Turner’s song What’s Love Got to Do With It, and is activated by Brazilian dancers who perform the lyrics in English based on translations into Portuguese, questions, and interpretations.
