Varanda Bienal – Neide Nell sings forró from the Northeast

On Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 2 pm to 3 pm and from 4 pm to 5 pm, a concert presented by Neide Nell, who sings forró from the Northeast, will take place at the Varanda Bienal, outside the Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion.

Neide Nell, a singer from Alagoas who lives in São Paulo, has been part of the São Paulo music scene since the late 90s. Neide is a multi-artist who performs in the theater and in with a varied repertoire that ranges from pop to MPB, forró and samba. She is currently working especially on her samba repertoire with her new project, “Neide Nell canta samba” (Neide Nell sings samba), accompanied by a trio of musicians of the highest quality musicians, in a show that tells the story of samba in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro through the
various rhythms ranging from partido alto to samba de breque.
