12th Bienal Poster

Authorship: Cláudio Moschella

“The layout recalls the 9th Bienal poster, although the geometric forms and their number are modified – now there are 12 circ!es instead of nine squares. The reasoning, however, is different and the network of meanings shifts from art to politics: in the place where the 12th circle should be found, corresponding to the 12th Bienal, there is a red circ!e, in a veiled allusion to political repression in Brazil”.
