First solo show of the 34th Bienal brings reflections on extractivism and colonization in Latin America
Ximena Garrido-Lecca is inaugurating the series with nine artworks which will be on display on the third floor of the Bienal Pavilion until March 15. Visiting hours: Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free admission.
The Fundação Bienal announces the program for the 34th Bienal de São Paulo, co-produced with 25 partner institutions
Most of the spaces that are taking part will present solo shows by artists who will also be featured in the Bienal Pavilion from October through December. While most institutions are in São Paulo, the partnerships also include Kunsthalle Basel (Switzerland), the Liverpool Biennial (UK), CCA Lagos (Nigeria) and CCA Wattis, San Francisco (US)
