Five months prior to its opening, the 32nd Bienal de São Paulo – Incerteza Viva [Live Uncertainty] announces the complete list of 81 participants, comprised of artists and collectives.
The Return to Nature – A Pedagogy of Uncertainty is the theme of 32nd Bienal’s Study Days in Lamas, Peru. Organized by Sofia Olascoaga with the participation of artists Rita Ponce de León, Jorge Menna Barreto among others
Organized by Gabi Ngcobo, the Accra Study Days will be framed around exploratory mapping exercises and also investigate migratory black cultures from Ghana to Brazil.
Artists from eight countries will participate in the program developed at Edifício Lutetia; brand new projects will be featured in the exhibition Incerteza viva [Live Uncertainty]
Live Uncertainty – Artistic and Pedagogical Processes, edited by Jochen Volz and Valquíria Prates, was developed out of a collaborative workshop with professors. Rodrigo Nunes, Virginia Kastrup, Milene Rodrigues Martins and Mia Couto are among the guest authors contributing to this publication.
