Varanda Bienal – Junio Barreto Pocket – Guitar Rovilson Pascoal
Produced by the artist alongside Otto and Rovilson Pascoal, the new work commemorates two decades of the Pernambuco poet’s debut in a solar ode to joy, dance and hope.
The poetic and musical maturity shown by Pernambuco’s Junio Barreto in his debut album of the same name, which is about to turn 20, is preparing for a new and luminous astral turn. The album “O Sol e o Sal do Suor” (The Sun and the Salt of Sweat) comes out with ten new songs and more than a decade’s breathing space after its second release, which already announced the radiant embrace of the sun. A return flooded with Northeastern origins and their diverse musical roots in an ode to joy, dance and hope.
